A first aid kit is a must to have in home. It is a necessary thing that should accompany along with a family always on travel and also at home. Most of the family overlook it and does not
give importance to have it at home at all and ome even though they have they give less attention to it that they hardly check for its maintenance. It ofcourse doent replace a Doctor but its importance can be known on
its usage in a family of kids or elderly person. Its content should meet the needs of the family. Here is a list of the items it should have...
  1. Phone number or address of the neighbourhood clinic.
  2. If your family members are with any serious mediacal problems then keep some of the emergency medications.
  3. Antiseptic creams
  4. Anasthetic creams to help ease the pain
  5. Traditional gauze dressing
  6. Bandages such as crepe and self-adhesive crepe bandage
  7. Bandaids for small cuts
  8. Cooling gel for burns
  9. Stainless steel scissors
  10. Stainless steel safey pins for tying knots
  11. Stainless steel tweezers for removing any bits of sharpnel from skin such as thorns, glass splinters
  12. Battery operated small torch
Having a first aid kit is not only important. It should be placed in a location that is easily accessible for emergency.
