| Hybrid resembling pineapple |
This is a snap shooted at the beach of Kuala Belait, Brunei Darussalam. I was surprised on seeing this not sure either fruit or vegetable. Can anyone who have come across such a beautiful creation let us know about it?

| Is that a pineapple tree? |
I don't think pineapple plants grow this big. I have seen one in munnar hills. this is definitely some other variety that looks like pineapple.The pineapple plants I saw were like small shrubs. either it din't grow big or they din't allow it to grow big.
