| Ajinimoto |
The word Ajinimoto is actually the name of a company rather than an ingredient that adds flavour to food delights. Its an Japan company that introduced Monosodium glutamate (MSG) for food delights in 1909 and so it is named after the company itself as Ajinimoto. Unlike salt, or sugar this MSG has no special flavour for it. When added to any food it increases the flavour of that food.
